Talempong is one of castanets which come from Minangkabau, West Sumatera, Indonesia. But talempong batu talang Anau (talempong stone from Talang Anau) that exist in Talang Anau Suliki is talempong that made from big of original stone and amount to 6 stones. Because of that, this talempong named Batu Talempong Talang Anau.
The story of Talempong Batu Talang Anau first time many there are in field hill Padang Aro and then removed by someone that have name Syamsudin. This first time story Syamsudin dream visited by his parent and commanded to collecting this stones to near growing of bamboo that named Talang, and also in this place have grow tree of anau. But that become surprisingly as well magical value in here Syamsudin move this stone only with tying from green coconut, so all of this stones dribbling more less far 1km. After collecting this stones, Syamsudin have bizzare behavior and often dissapear. So because many times Syamsudin dissapear, Syamsudin given one title from people around with name Syamsudin Tuanku Nan Hilang (my sire Syamsudin that lose).
After Syamsudin really lose, suddenly Syamsudin coming and leave one message for local resident to keep this stones. And if wish to beat, play, or sounding this stones must permit with burning white incense. This stones still have sound though beat this stones not fumigating with white incense, but will not piercing sound or have sound like stone that beat normally. The uniqueness from stones in Talang Anau, if this place have disaster, this stones will rumbling sound or other bizzare voices.
